Our beautiful and talented Morgan mares are a breeder's dream! They have produced strong babies that thrive with their good milk and under their attentive and watchful eyes. We love our mares that catch the first time when serviced by a stallion and have no problems throughout their pregnancies and deliveries. Our mares are fed high quality grains and hays plus vitamins, wormed regularly, and vaccinated- to ensure the babies will be off to a great start. Our foals are born to be athletes with every possible measure taken by us to ensure nutrition and health.
CW's Sweet Silver
Black based Gray Morgan Mare, 14-3hh, foaled 2000
(CW's Silver Ash x CW's Silver Sundae)
98.9% Foundation bloodlines. Old Morgan breeding in her pedigree.
One of the most beautiful GRAY Morgan mares in the breed, Sweetie has had 4 exceptional foals for us that have been highly saleable with super willing personalities. We have sold all of them as weanlings and a yearling.
Her two GRAY sons sired by SFG Gold Snapdragon have gone on to breeding homes(One in CA with a veterinarian and one in Australia with a great new breeding program). Her two daughters by SFG Gold Snapdragon, one a smoky black GRAY filly, went to AL as a broodmare prospect and a palomino filly who was sold as a riding and trick horse prospect.
CW's Sweet Silver was purchased by us as a weanling from Carol Guay at Crosswinds Farm in Dryden, MI. Carol almost single handedly saved the color GRAY from extinction in the breed. The color GRAY needs help with preservation. There are very few foal being produced each year with this coat color. Please help by breeding GRAY Morgans if you can! There is more information on colorful Morgan Horses on the last page of our website and links.
Sweetie has 50/50 chance of throwing a gray foal when bred to another color stallion.

Maple Grove Misty May, deceased 2019. We miss this mare so much!
Bay Morgan mare, 15hh, foaled 2000
(Baroncrest Nuggeteer x Maple Grove Melody by Shamrock Seville)
Full lippitt and Full foundation mare. All old breeding tracing directly back to Justin Morgan himself with few outcrosses. No current show breeding in her pedigree.
This lovely full Lippitt bred mare has been an ambassador for the breed by showing in Horse Expos in the Midwest. She excels as a riding horse, and has been ridden hunt, western and beginning dressage. She has a wonderful disposition with a great conformation and old-time style. Her foals have vigor, expression and are very stylish movers.
The full Lippitt family of Morgans traces back to Justin Morgan on every pedigree line and is the purest of all Morgan families. The lippitt bred Morgans are in danger of extinction with only a handful of foals born each year. Look on our last page of the website for links to the Lippitt Club for more information and pure Lippitt Morgans for sale and at stud. This club also uses a breed standard that is posted on their site. We have bred Lippitts for many years and love to have people on the trail recognize our horses as Morgans!
